With Water Vapor Plasma Technology

In physics, plasma is an ionized gas with a significant proportion of free charge carriers such as ions and electrons (e.g. lightning, auroras, solar wind, etc.). Plasma is also known as the fourth state of matter.
 
This technology is based on the formation of water vapor and therefore requires no gas or compressed air. A power source (230V/50Hz) and water are all that is needed to operate the system.
 
The patented nozzle and innovative controller (system intelligence) create the basis for plasma generation. The high electric arc temperature and injected water vapor give rise to a heat source with mean temperatures of approximately 4,000 – 6,000 °C and core peak values of over 12,000 °C.
 
It is this core flow of approx. 12,000 °C at a pressure of around 4 bar that facilitates the stripping process. The rest of the flame at approx. 2,000 – 3,000 °C ensures crystallization within milliseconds. At the same time, the outer part of the heat cone serves as a shield and ensures the absolute reduction of harmful substances. 

Water is a high-level energy source and, at temperatures higher than approx. 900 °C, it splits into hydrogen and oxygen and forms a high-energy gas (known as detonating gas), which increases the energy content of the plasma jet fivefold.

It is this effect that enables effective and efficient use in the relevant applications.

Using water instead of inert gases gives rise to completely new chemical and physical effects.

This revolutionary and completely emission-free “plasma water vapor technology” reliably decontaminates material on site, leaving no additional residues and therefore less radioactive waste.

Running in parallel with the torch's decontamination (burn-off) process, the suction unit ensures no harmful substances are released.
 
All residues enter the preseparator via the steel bonnet with impact separator.
