This technological decontamination system is mounted on a compact cart. Depending on the situation, two people are required for correct and proper operation and to ensure compliance with all the protection and safety guidelines.
 
The system's biggest advantage over conventional equipment, e.g. sandblasting systems, lies in its complete decontamination process, which leaves no additional residues and little radioactive waste.

With sandblasting systems, you are left with sand that then still needs to be disposed of in its entirety.

Main system process

• Incineration and decontamiation
  Removes contaminated particles (without blasting materials).
  Creates no additional material 
• Preseparation
  Cooling, neutralizing, settling (via special preseparator)
• Suction
  Sucks up particles using suction device, transports, releases clean air

System types have already been specified for the various additional uses and applications in the field of decontamination.
For example, PWVS 2 is for groundwater cleaning (decontamination), PWVS 3 for hazardous waste (landfill), PWVS 4 for dioxin (contaminated soil), etc.
